Review Smart Weigh TZ5000
The Smart WeighTZ5000 proved to be an accurate and easy to use scale. It uses 2-CR2032 batteries (included) and has a very nice blue backlit display. The scale measures 8" x 8".

Operation is straightforward... just push the power button (that also functions as the tare button) to turn the scale on.
Once the scale is on, you can press the power button again to tare (zero out) the weight of a container prior to putting the item you want to weigh in the container. Using tare allows you to determine the net weight of the item ignoring the weight of the container.

The scale has a "unit" button that lets you choose between grams, pounds & ounces, fluid ounces and ml.

The scale was very accurate in my use and weighs down to a resolution of 0.1oz/ 0.1g/ 0.1fluid oz/ 1ml

The scale has an auto-off feature which turns the scale off after 1 minute of inactivity.
I have two concerns with the scale:
- The two buttons are integrated into the weighing surface. So if you were to weigh wet items directly on the scale surface, it is possible liquid could seep in between the button edge and the scale. This would be difficult to clean and could provide an opportunity for bacterial growth.
- The buttons aren't very "positive" when you press them. They do not click and do not provide good tactile feedback.

Overall this was an easy to operate and accurate kitchen scale that can also be put to use weighing many other things other than food. Its maximum capacity is 5000g/ 5000ml/ 176.4 fluid ounces/ 11 pounds:0.4 ounces. There is a 2-year warranty.

I was provided a complimentary sample for testing and review. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the scale; just leave me a comment.
Review from Mr Erb.Thanks for watching.
