Review Glass Teapot Harmony

Review Glass Teapot Harmony

I've refrained from buying glass teapots such as this in the past mainly because I'm such a klutz. The probability of me breaking this glass teapot is extraordinarily high. But this teapot is so nice, in it's simple elegance that I'm willing to take that chance this time. If you are giving this as a gift, I won't have involvement in that so the chance of me breaking your teapot is exceedingly small.

This is a simply designed, handcrafted, heat-resistant, glass teapot with stainless steel strainer/lid and has a 50oz capacity. It is top-shelf dishwasher safe.

The teapot is packaged in an attractive yet simple cardboard box. The tea, although it is itself in a vacuum sealed bag is packaged in a thick paper stock. It's all recyclable material except for the plasticy vacuum sealed bag holding the tea leaves and the plastic wrap that is surrounding the entire teapot box and tea box when it is opened from the shipping box.

The Jasmine tea is not my favorite but it may be more likeable to you. It's a Green Tea with Jasmine flowers and is quite aromatic. I use one teaspoon of tea per cup and let it steep for 6-8 minutes. I don't know if that is the recommended time because I could not read the Chinese on the back of the bag of tea nor could I find recommended brewing time for the tea on the website.
A cleaning tip is to use baking soda to gently clean any stains that may develop inside. Don't let brewed tea sit in the teapot for longer than necessary as that will encourage staining, It's easy to hand wash but is also top-shelf dishwasher safe.

Overall this is a very nice quality glass teapot. I also happen to like the Tea Beyond philosophy. They are resolved to reducing paper waste and encourage you to go online to download pdf recipes, and instructions for the care and cleaning of your teapot. It's a little clunky how they make you go through a shopping cart in order to download free pdf's. I don't know why they just simply don't have a Resources page that lists the recipes and instructions there. Maybe it's their way to collect your name and address...

I was provided a sample for testing and review. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, just leave me a comment.I like the Tea Beyond philosophy of environmental consciousness.

Review from Mr Erb.Thanks for watching!
