I love surprises and this WolVol 7" tablet running Android 4.2 did surprise me with it's full complement of ports and decent performance.
This very inexpensive tablet boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage with the option to attach additional storage in the form of a USB stick (32GB max) and/or a MicroSD card (32GB max). You don't even have that option on a Nexus 7 tablet!
The screen resolution is 1024x600. Certainly not the highest resolution screen out there but it is a bright screen with good enough resolution to please most people. Off-axis viewing is pretty good too. I do not think you can expect a better screen at this price and for the price, this is a great screen.
The rear firing speaker has a very good sound and volume for its size.
You get a very full array of ports including USB Host port, Mini-HDMI port, MiniUSB port, power input, and a 3.5mm Headphone out.
Screen touch response was excellent, better than the Asus 7" MemoPad that I also own. Snappy screen movement and great movie playing ability.
I can't find fault with much about this tablet. The only omission that is going to be missed by some people is the lack of Bluetooth and NFC. No NFC I can live without. Lack of bluetooth is a bit more of a concession. But for the overall price, this is a great value in a 7" tablet.
I was provided a sample for review.
