An additional feature of this powerbank is the built-in LED flashlight which is turned on or off by a quick double-press of the on/off button.
When the on/off button is pressed just one time, LED's on the face of the powerbank illuminate to indicate the state of charge of the Li-ion battery;
- 3 LED's: 50%-75% charge remaining
- 2 LED's: 25%-50% charge remaining
- 1 LED: 5%-25% charge remaining
- 1 flashing LED: less than 5% charge remaining... time to recharge the battery pack.
In my testing this was a great performing battery pack. It charged my iPhone4 at the rate of 1% per minute and that is excellent and on the same level as some of the best battery packs I've tested.
Pros:
- Non-glossy case resists fingerprints and provides a good grippy surface
- Can charge two devices at the same time
- Built-in LED flashlight
- Ultra-thin design makes it easy to carry
- Decent capacity of 5000mAh
- Auto shutoff when charging is complete (of your device or of the battery pack)
Cons:
- MicroUSB charging cable is not included
One thing worth mentioning is that even though the battery pack does allow you to charge it while it is also charging a device, there is a warning in the user guide against doing that because it can diminish the life of the Li-ion battery. The battery pack can be charged in 3-5 hours depending on input current. Maximum input is 2A.
I was provided a complimentary sample for testing and review. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about the battery pack; just leave me a comment.
