Review Sony VCTGM1 Headband and Clip-on Kit for Waterproof Housing

The Sony Headband and clip-on Kit allows you to attach your action camera to either the included head strap, or to the strap of a Goggle or Underwater Mask. To that end, it does exactly what it claims it will be able to do.

If using this with ski Goggles for instance, you may find that the camera has too much ability to move around while capturing video since it is only being held in place by the elasticized band of the Goggle or head strap. It does depend on how much head movement you are doing and what types of maneuvers you are attempting.

There is an issue of not being able to adjust the camera angle too. That can be resolved by purchasing the Tilt Adapter Sony VCT-TA1 Camera Angle Mount for Sony Action Cam HDR-AS10 and HDR-AS15 (Black) which will enable you to point the camera up or down to meet your needs. But that adds more weight thus exacerbating the camera's ability to shake while capturing video.

I think that DIY'ers will find unique ways to use this kit other than using the provided head strap.
