I think it's important to have a battery pack available to use if you are a mobile device user. It's very upsetting to run out of battery power in your smartphone or tablet before the end of the day. If you're not in a position to plug in to an AC charger or laptop, you're out of luck. By having a conveniently sized battery pack with you however, you may avoid those dead battery situations.

This PLEMO Matic Bean is, first of all, quite unique in shape. I think i'ts cool looking and is available in quite a few different colors.,

It's got two outputs:
- Output 1 is a permanently attached 4" cord with a MicroUSB tip and is 1.2A.
- Output 2 is a USB output providing 1A of power.

Also provided is a 10" USB cable with two cords coming off of it; an Apple 30-pin connector and a MicroUSB plug.

You are able to charge 2 devices simultaneously. Conveniently, you are also able to charge the Magic Bean as you are simultaneously charging devices.

Performance was very good. My iPhone 4 was charged at a rate of 10% increase in battery power every 10 minutes. That's comparable to other powerbanks that I"ve rated highly in the past.

This is a convenient size, clever design and the attached MicroUSB cable is really convenient since you don't have to remember to bring a cable along with you if your device uses a MicroUSB connction for charging.
