The first speaker I was sent was defective and did not work. The company sent a replacement and that is what this review is based on. I have taken the defective unit into consideration in assigning my star rating. The company does have a 3yr warranty which is very generous.
A somewhat unique feature of the BSPR300 is its touch panel on the top surface. When touched, LED's light up underneath displaying the touch controls. You are able to skip tracks, adjust volume and answer/hangup phone calls. You cannot initiate a phone call from the speaker. While the touch panel works well inside, it can get quite difficult to see in bright light outdoors.
The bottom of the speaker has two pads with a grippy surface to provide some anti-slide capabilities to the speaker.
The total volume of this speaker is greater than many comparable speakers as can be seen in my sound level measurements. I found the sound quality to be quite well balanced with a decent enough bass response given the size of the speaker.
The speaker charges in just a couple hours and has a maximum playtime of abouty 8 hours depending on volume. You can also connect it to a batterypack or USB power source for extended listening time.
I was provided a complimentary sample for testing and review. I agreed to provide a fair and honest review with no expectation that my review would be positive. If you have any questions, please leave me a comment and I'll try to answer if I can.
Review form Mr Erb.Thanks for watching.
