Review FRiEQ Hi-Speed Cloth Jacketed USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B Cable

Review FRiEQ Hi-Speed Cloth Jacketed USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B Cable

I like this cloth covered MicroUSB cable by Frieq. Reminds me of the patch cables that we used to use in the radio station way back when, that were also cloth covered.
Cloth cables have some advantages over vinyl/plastic casings... cloth cables are essentially tangle free. They also happen to be quite durable. Plus they just feel good in the hand.

These cables have great strain relief on the plugs and the plugs themselves are not the type that can pull apart. The plugs are also gold plated which resists corrosion and ensures reliable data transfer. Finally, Frieq is using a heavier gauge wire in these cables compared to many other cables in the marketplace. You only have to loosely coil the cable to feel the difference in wire gauge. What seals the deal for me is the 2-year warranty. Takes all the risk out of getting a bad cable.

I think that these are some of the best cables out there.

I was provided a sample for review.
